Projeto Fonofágico
Team: Clara Gastelois, Gabriela Recher, Otávio Gergely, Luiz Dionísio Xavier
This project aimed to create an outdoor urban event, as well as its visual identity. It was developed during the Visual Design course at FAUUSP.
As a theme, my group chose the use of classical music as a tool for storytelling. To this end, we created an imaginary musical group — Fonofágico — that would present pieces that serve this principle such as the composition Peter and the Wolf, by Prokofiev, for which I produced the poster attached here.
I was also responsible for the creation of the event's logo and booklet, the latter containing the event's program and informations about the orchestra and cast.
The name Fonofágico refers to the Anthropophagic Movement in Brazilian modern art, which values the cultural diversity of our country, resulting from the mixture of influences received throughout our history.
Thus, for the development of the project, we considered it important to use experimentation in our processes. For the visual identity, we sought to convey feelings of diversity, creativity and polyphony.
