Chalet Sneg:
Creation of a showcase website
Creation of a showcase website for Chalet Sneg, a high-end chalet located in Tignes, designed to present the property, its amenities, and its atmosphere in an elegant and immersive way.
The project involved translating the chalet’s warm, luxurious ambiance into a cohesive graphic universe. The site needed to be both functional and visually appealing, with intuitive navigation and a clear visual hierarchy, despite the density of information to present (rooms, services, entertainment spaces, etc.). The entire project was built on Squarespace, adding the challenge of adapting the design and structure to the platform’s constraints.
Project goals :
-
Create a harmonious, immersive visual identity that reflects the chalet’s luxury and authenticity.
-
Structure and organize information clearly to facilitate navigation and understanding.
-
Provide a smooth, engaging, and visually appealing user experience across the entire site.

While retaining the existing logo, the project was built around a restrained, clean, and minimalist palette and typography, designed to highlight the chalet’s images on the site while evoking a luxurious, wintery atmosphere.

Challenge #1: Describing the cabin's layout
The site needed to present a detailed list of the chalet’s rooms and their functions. The challenge was to make this long list clear and easy to read while keeping its original format.
To address this, I designed a visual organization divided into three sections, corresponding to each floor of the chalet. This segmentation allows visitors to quickly understand the distribution of rooms, their functions, and the entertainment areas, while enhancing the section’s readability and flow.

Challenge #2: Showcasing Services Visually and Working Within the Squarespace Grid
To highlight the services offered by the chalet staff, I designed a dedicated section using a system of icons to differentiate each service and make the content more readable and engaging. The work also involved making the most of the CMS’s limited options, creating a clear and elegant layout despite these constraints.
Strategically placed calls-to-action, such as “Book” or “Contact,” enhance the user flow, ensuring optimal visibility of services and a user experience that is both clear and visually appealing.
