This project was developed for the discipline AUP 2410 Product Design V, of which the goal was to work with vehicles powered by human propulsion, which could serve varied functions (entertainment, public transportation, cargo transport, among others).
This project focused on combining the draisine —a two-wheeled vehicle without pedals— with the traditional bicycle. The resulting product would be a vehicle that could accompany the child through various ages as they learn to balance on two wheels and, later, as their body grows and changes.
The idea arose from the growing recognition of the importance of the bicycle as a means of transport and the sometimes complex process of learning to ride it.
