Pirate

Project developed during an academic exchange at ESADSE (École Supérieure d'Art et Design de Saint-Étienne)

Pirate is a font created through the deformation and destruction of another. The letters were printed in Times New Roman Italic, then repainted one by one, by hand, over damp paper

The boards were then scanned and vectorized. Following this process, the font was applied to a pamphlet for an imaginary electronic music festival: TOW - Festival Pirate de Musique Techno de Toulouse
